You have the right to permanently delete your Orbit account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to do it and what happens when you do.

How to Delete Your Account

Send a deletion request to rohan@useorbit.in from the email address associated with your account. Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line. We will process your request within 7 business days and send you a confirmation.

What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

— Your name, email address, and phone number
— All saves, links, screenshots, and notes you created
— All orbits (groups) you created or were a member of
— Your account profile and preferences

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Content shared with other orbit members before deletion will also be removed from their feeds.

What May Be Retained

We may retain certain information for a limited period where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as:

— Records needed to resolve disputes or enforce our Terms of Use
— Anonymised, aggregated analytics data that cannot identify you
— Transaction or compliance records required under applicable Indian law

Any retained data is securely stored and not used for any commercial purpose.

Timeline

Account deletion is processed within 30 days of your confirmed request. During this period your account is deactivated and not visible to other users. Backups and cached copies are fully purged within 90 days.
